We desire to be a student ministry of Spirit-dependent disciples on God's mission of moving everyone to maturity in Christ.
As the student ministry of FBC, our mission is to see every Junior High and High School student mature in Jesus Christ. This goal is high, but we believe that Jesus would have it no other way. We've modeled our mission and our name from the Apostle Paul who says in Colossians 1:28-29,
"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me."
Our Wednesday Program
ONE28 meets every Wednesday in the FBC gym from 6:30–8:30pm (September–May). We meet primarily for worship and fellowship together. We believe that students, like all people, need to come face to face with God in the Scriptures. So we meet in small groups to read the Bible together and apply it to students' lives.
The Training Hour (Jr. High)
Held on Sunday mornings at 9am in the ONE28 room (0-24). This year we will be studying through the book of Colossians. This class will be team taught by Luke Rhee, Daniel Nakamura and Jeremy Valenzuela. (High Schoolers meet with the adult Training Hour class)
