What is compassion? What is mercy? When Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful," in The Sermon on the Mount, what did He mean? Should we always show mercy to people, or are there situations in which mercy is not an appropriate response? This sermon explains what mercy and compassion are and why they are characteristics of the followers of Jesus.
