Ministry Spotlight
Erica Cobb has attended Foothill Bible Church her entire life, and she has benefited from the teaching and through serving faithfully here from a young age. She has served in many areas but most recently as a teacher and helper in the 2 and 3 year old classes, in the nursery with the infants and toddlers, and as an AWANA Sparks secretary. For the past five years, Erica has been volunteering in the office by assisting Mrs. A and Mrs. Buehl in all areas of Children’s Ministry prep work mid-week. “I love working with children and teaching them about God. Teaching songs and Bible stories in the 2’s and 3’s classes is such a blessing to me and I hope to continue doing it for years to come. I love walking down to the playground and being greeted by all the children! It brings such joy to my heart!”
Growing up in a family with two older sisters and three younger brothers, Erica loves being active. “One thing I look forward to every week is Monday Night Soccer here at the church! Getting to hang out with my friends and exercise at the same time is awesome! I also love hiking with my friends and family. We often hike in our local mountains and this year I am hoping to summit Mt. Whitney for the fifth time!”
This year Erica graduates from high school at The Cobb Academy! “I am looking forward to attending either California State University at San Bernardino or California Baptist Univeristy in the fall to study nursing and hopefully receive my R.N.”
