The Mission of Children’s Ministry at Foothill Bible Church is very simple: here is what the Bible says and here is how to apply it to your life. Everything that the children see, hear, and do should always take them back to the Bible. Our children's program is set up for children from newborns to sixth grade. All of us serving in the children's ministries are excited to minister to your children by teaching them God's Word and His unending love for them through song, stories and hands-on activities. They learn basic Bible truths and memorize Scripture to use in their daily lives.
9am // The Training Hour
From September to May, children meet in age appropriate classes from 9–10am.
Newborn – 2 years old
Your babies and/or toddlers will be watched by our screened and trained volunteers. When they are checked into our nursery, you are able to specify any special needs for your child's care.
2 years old – 6th grade
These children begin their morning by singing together in the Chapel and then move into age appropriate classes taught by trained teachers.
10:30am // Worship Service
During our worship service, children ages 0–5 are invited to be cared for by our screened and trained workers and can be checked in before the service. Children in grades 1–6 sit with their parents for the singing, Scripture reading, and prayer portion of the service, and then are dismissed to our "Kids for Christ" program.
4:30pm // AWANA
Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Tim. 2:15)
Our children from 3 years of age through sixth grade meet to learn Scripture verses, play exciting games and have a great time in the Word of God. This ministry includes the AWANA Olympics, Bible Bowl Quizzing, the Grand Prix and, for the older children, AWANA Scholarship Camp.
AWANA begins in September and runs through May on Sundays in our Outreach Center (gym). The year ends with an Awards Night in the Worship Center. Parents and friends are invited to come see clubbers recognized for their achievements.
The 2018-19 clubs have begun!
